Series showcased at UK's lead motorsport event

Drivers of six Class A Boxsters from the BRSCC Porsche Championship demonstrated their racing skills, and showed off the series, in front of thousands of fans in the Live Action Arena at this year's Autosport International Show. Held annually at the NEC in Birmingham, its the showcase of the British motorsport industry, attended overall by only the second-largest crowd after the British F1 Grand Prix. Held on all four days of the show, with five races on both Saturday and Sunday, each short race was held over an oval circuit with nine drivers sharing time in the six cars.

Boxster regulars Steve Potts, Steve Boyles, Adam Croft, Dave Hughes, Gerry Taylor and Syd Coombes were joined by Tony Mekwinski and Lee Ketteridge from TF Motorsport. Tony, who drives a 924 in the series, was thrilled with his wins on the Thursday having never driven a Boxster before that day. Lee has race experience in front-engined Mk2 Golf GTIs; also appearing was JM Littman, founder of Webheads Digital and a potential new driver to the series.

The PDA are very grateful to Haymarket Publishing for their intivation to this prestigeous showcase, the BRSCC for their organisation and to the drivers who volunteered their time and cars to make the event such a success.
