Taking in the best of British circuits and for the first time adding a weekend at a circuit outside the UK, the provisional calendar for the 2013 season of the BRSCC Porsche Championship is now published. After a fabulous and competitive 2012, where the series saw grids of over 30 cars, the Championship expects to attract more drivers joining in all classes in the coming season. Weekends will consist of a mix of 2- and 3-race rounds, starting in April at the Northamptonshire circuit of Rockingham and culminating in a triple-header at Donington Park.
Richard Styrin will be looking to defend his Class A title; Sean Siddall will hope to defeat 924-class winner Alastair Kirkham, who took the 924 category to the wire in 2012. But the Class B Production Boxsters will see new blood as both Stephen Potts and Steven Brown upgraded their cars to "full fat" regulations.
It's hard to believe that there's a cost effective Porsche racing series - but this successful championship really is!
