Hi
I am a refugee from the MR2 series ,and am considering joining your series.
Sadly I have missed my local circuit, Oulton, but would be grateful for any info on where to acquire a car from and would anyone be interested in running it for me as I have no home storage/transport.
Depending on cost, I may just do a single meeting as a taster with a view to 2013

Be grateful for any advice

Steve

We have two cars for sale, if you look on the "for sale" section of the website. Lots of newbies in the class this year, it is a fantastic championship.

Can I ask if there's any particular reason why you're moving from the MR2 series?

I'm doing "arrive and drive myself" for the same reasons, but its an expensive way of doing it!

Hi
Just looking at my options - mainly for 2013
But the MR2 series (Mk1) never visits Oulton - my local circuit - although I know I have missed the Porsche round there.
So I thought I would look at what i think to be a similarly priced series, especially one where accident damage is more likely to be a result of my own actions rather than others.
I know arrive and drive is expensive, but for a one-off in 2012 I would consider it - although if a car was reasonably priced I would consider purcahsing.
I am also still considering the MR2 series, but the timetable this year is not too favourable towards me.

I had a large bump at Cadwell in June 2010 - so only just got back to fitness(!) which is why I am looking at other series

Regards

You might want to try Fudge at Victoria Motorsport - think they have a 924 to hire. His number is 07890 195439. Or maybe the Jay/Mark cars at Flegg Transport might be available to hire if they're not sold???

Hi
Oddly enough I spoke at length with Fudge last night and we may do something later on in the season.
However, he gave me your phone number today because if I were to purchase a car I would need someone to look after it and get it to the meetings etc as I have no transport facilities myself.
He also said that if you could not help then you may know someone who could!

I live in Manchester - which is why I believe he thought of you

Regards and thanks for the info
