The Porscheracing Drivers Association will be developing a race series for the Porsche Boxster commencing in 2010. The race series will be run at BRSCC meetings at circuits all round the country with approximately 14 races to be held during the first year.
Technical regulations will be available soon. The rules will be designed to promote close racing between equally matched cars, while at the same time keeping budgets under control by limiting the amount of modifications permitted. It is planned that a kit of parts will be available from the organisers to convert a road going Boxster to the series specification.
A prototype for the series is in production and will be shown at BRSCC race meetings during 2009.
The existing Porsche 924 Championship will continue to be supported by the Porschedrivers Association and the BRSCC.
