Steve Cheetham again ran away with round 3 of the 924 championship. Steve clocked up an impressive 1:26.9 to qualify for pole position followed by Ryan Hooker. As the race started Steve took an early lead with Ryan in hot pursuit and ryan finally taking 2nd position on the podium. Carl Powel came from 5th to take third and also claimed quote of the day with “A lawn mower could have gone faster than my car this morning!” Richard Mowbray and David Frankland battled it out for 4th and 5th place with each driver swapping position on each lap , David taking the corners to take 4th with Richard on the back straight to regain the position
Beverly Miles from Leeda suspension gave out the driver awards with Phil Hatswell for taking 3rd in both Mallory races and Paul Bainbridge taking 4th and 5th as a novice driver for Mallory . Driver of the Race award goes to David Frankland for his outstanding driving at Snetterton
