Will Disdale broke Steve Cheethams dominance of the 924 championship this weekend at Pembrey with 2 outstanding victories. Starting second on the grid after both qualifying session Will took an early lead only to pull away from his nearest challengers.
Race one saw Phil Hatswell take pole but soon fell behind will to battle it out with Steve Chetham in a very exciting race that saw both drivers swap for 2nd and third position. Phil had to retire with a blown engine which resulted in Richard Mowbrey taking 3rd place.
Race two saw Steve Cheetham take pole but will Disdale was on outstanding form and again soon took the lead, Carl Powell and Steve Cheetham battled it out with Steve spinning and having to recover from the back of the grid. Carl Powell retired dramatically with right rear break failure which left Martin Todd to take 3rd place.
