Boxster Stalwart teams with MND Charity

Adam Croft Announces 2014 Partnership with Charity 'Racing4MND' and sponsor Cubik

With less than two weeks to go until lights out at the first round of the 2014 season at Silverstone, Class A Porsche Boxster driver and Championship stalwart Adam Croft, is delighted to announce his association with ‘’, a charity set up by former professional racer Neil Cunningham, to raise funds for research into motor neurone disease.

The link came about through Adam’s title sponsor, Leeds based web development agency Cubik Solutions Ltd, who are supporting his racing activities in the Porsche Championship for a third consecutive year. For many years previously, Cubik were also involved in sponsorship of Neil Cunningham’s racing career, and the ties between the two parties still exist to this day. Neil was a professional racing driver for 27 years, and latterly a stunt driver for ‘Top Gear Live’. He also worked on the James Bond movie ‘Quantum of Solace’.

As many in the racing world will already know, Neil was sadly diagnosed with motor neurone disease in 2010. He subsequently set up ‘’ in association with the Heaton Ellis Trust to raise money to support research into this horrific disease, and particularly to support the research conducted at Kings College Hospital by Professor Christopher Shaw and his team.

It was the mutual connection between Neil, Cubik and Adam that was the catalyst for the idea of Adam racing in support of the charity during the 2014 season in the BRSCC Toyo Tire Porsche Championship. In addition to prominent branding for the charity on Adam’s number 59 Porsche race car, the driver and sponsor will be working in conjunction with the BRSCC to set up specific fund raising initiatives throughout the season. Further details will be published as and when available.

Adam said: "I am absolutely thrilled to have Cubik on board as a title sponsor once again in 2014. Their backing and commitment to me for the last three years has been second to none, and now to be representing as a result of Cubik’s historical association with Neil Cunningham, is an honour and a privilege. I can’t wait to get the racingseason underway, and to do whatever I  can to help support this worthwhile cause."
