Flegg and Marshall Return

Long-term Legends Return in Boxsters

Mark Marshall and Jayson Flegg made their long awaited return to the track with two freshly prepared Porsche Boxsters which will be campaigned in Class B this season. Jayson and Mark last raced in the 924 championship in 2011 having debuted in 2008 and being pretty much ever-presents during this period. The pair was also heavily involved in keeping the championship running when the Boxsters were introduced to the fold.

The guys were shaking down the new cars (built by TF Motorsport) at Brands Hatch and were both pleased with the session on a bright and sunny day. Having had their fair share of unreliability in their 924s, they were pleased to be able complete over 70 laps without any dramas or concerns to report on either of the cars.

"We are looking forward to the first meeting at Silverstone in April and meeting up with some old friends" commented Mark. "We are planning to do a full season in the production class and see this as ideal preparation for moving onto class A cars; however knowing us we will probably be upgrading before the end of the season."

Jayson added "It feels like we have been away from the championship for far too long and are looking forward to getting cracking and giving some of the class A boys a run for their money."
