Round Six at Oulton Park

Oulton Approaches

The picturesque 2.69 mile Cheshire circuit will be the venue for the Toyo Tires BRSCC Porsche Championship's sixth round of the 2013 season next weekend, with two races on Saturday 31st August - and some familiar faces will be returning to our grid. Ian Loggie (pictured) will appear in only his second weekend of the year in the TF Motorsport Boxster having raced a Porsche 997 GT3 Cup in both Britcar MSA Endurance Championship and GT Cup races since Rockingham. Co-Owner of the Logson Group, Ian lives in Tarporley - literally walking distance from the circuit, so he's bound to be competitive.

Also back in his Boxster will be Sean Siddall, who moved up from successful a season in a 924 in 2012 and missed the previous round to a prior engagement.

Talking of 924s, Hen Sharpe wil be back behind the wheel having suffered engine problems at Brands Hatch. Revolution Porsche specialists have breathed life back into an engine the ex-MG racer was convinced was toast having failed during the first race at the Kent circuit earlier this month. John Broadley returns to the series having raced 924s in previous years, both with us and in the CSCC. And Lynda Warren from Harrogate will make her second appearance of the season after first racing with us earlier in the year at Silverstone.

Hen's brother Will Sharpe stands just a single point behind Steve Boyles whose 987 currently sits in second place in the Class A Boxsters' table.
