Oulton Park Preview

The 2010 Championship now moves on to rounds 3 & 4 at Oulton Park on 8th May.

Hot on the heels of a thrilling season opening weekeend at Cadwell Park, the Boxsters and the 924's now take the trip across the Pennines to Oulton Park in Cheshire. Another track that has something for everyone; high speed corners, technical corners, 'bravery' sections, and even a banked hairpin, Oulton Park promises to put on another great show for this brand new Championship.

The Boxster class will be boosted by the addition of two or three new drivers this time out, which will no doubt give Nick Hull and Dave Hughes something to think about as they battle for the top spot.

Meanwhile in the 924 class, the top 4 drivers are separated by just 5 points after the first two rounds at Cadwell, and with any number of drivers capable of winning this season, no one can afford to rest on their laurels. First time race winners from Cadwell, Alistair Kirkham and Adam Croft will have their work cut out to repeat the feat, with the likes of Steve Brown, Andrew Hannington and the 'Team Flegg' boys (Jayson and Mark) all lining up to have their shot at victory.

Open testing takes place on Friday 7th May, whilst qualifying and the two races will both feature on Saturday 8th May. Full timetable to follow, but one thing's for sure, this is a race weekend not to be missed!
