Pie Performance Launch Their New Car

The launch of PIE Performance's new class A 986 Boxster went well at Hennessey Lifestyle near Bury St.Edmunds at the weekend. The team have raised £1000 already for the Speed of Sight - their chosen charity - with an attendance of 150. Hawthorn Sound and Lighting donated all of the sound and lighting equipment for the event and the venue looked spectacular.

Mike Newman, head of Speed of Sight, gave a speech about their organisation which gives blind and disabled people the opportunity to drive race cars at speed. PIE Performance's owners Chris and John Lansbury, and driver Toby Smales, talked about how their partnership has developed the new car and the challenge of getting it ready for its first race at Oulton Park in March.

Toby thanked the attendees and the local companies who have contributed so much already. Pie Performance say they are excited to start the season and look forward to the challenges it repesents. Meanwhile the car will remain at Hennessey Lifestyle for the rest of this week for viewing.
