New Team - New Driver for 2018

Coming to the BRSCC Toyo Porsche Championship next season are a new team and a new driver - both new to circuit racing.

Established by father and son team John and Chris Lansbury, PIE Performance offer a lower cost, quality option to Porsche servicing in the East of England. Proud of their very personal service since 2008, the company consider the understanding of the individual customer's needs to be vital to their business. They offer fixed-price servicing on a wide range of Porsche models, dating back to early air-cooled 911s and including Panamera and Cayenne models.

Venturing into motorsport for the first time, the company are currently converting a 986 Boxster to run for a full season in Class A in 2018, to be piloted by Palmer Motorsport instructor Toby Smales. Through their business they have already establised partnerships with a variety of suppliers and specialists including EuroCarParts and engine specilists Hartech. The race car build is being documented by 911 & Porschce World magazine and they are already actively seeking sponsorship for the venture.

Chris Lansbury said "thanks to keen interest from a large number of our customers, and depending on our success in 2018, we aim to grow the motorsport side of the business from the single Class A car for Toby to a fleet of six - two to run full season, a couple to be made available as arrive-and-drive and a final two for track days."
