PDA Raise Over £1k

Once again the drivers and teams of the BRSCC Porsche racing drivers' association demonstrated their generosity, putting hands in pockets over the recent weekend at Rockingham to raise a total of £1100 for former York Hospital A&E nurse Dawn Watts, who suffers from an aggressive form of breast cancer.

PDA chairman Nick Hull has known Dawn since their school days and while she has raised an incredible £32,500 for others, a worsening of her own condition has brought the need to attend a clinic in Spain offering bespoke treatment aimed at empowering her own immune system to help tackle her cancer.

Toyo Tires UK kindly donated a set of R888R road-legal race tyres that were auctioned off as part of the fundraising.
