Porsche Owners Open Day

The season gets underway with the first social event of the year

An open day was held at Flegg Transport in Aylesbury on Saturday 27th March, to promote the PDA's activities for 2010. This was an opportunity for new racing members to meet existing drivers and chat about the season ahead. It was also the first chance to see the new PDA Race Centre in all its glory.

Over 50 people attended throughout the day, including new and current racing members and various Porsche Owners clubs.

In addition to the 924 and Boxster classes, much interest has been shown in the Invitation class, and we will have someone on board shortly to help develop this class and increase grid numbers.

We took a number of new driver registrations during the event, which will further bolster the grids for 2010, having already signed up over 20 drivers!

Many visitors also signed up to the Social Membership, and are looking forward to visiting some race meetings throughout the year.

Don't forget, this year we are offering a new Social Membership of the Porsche Drivers Association for just £35 / year. For this, you will receive two free race tickets per year to a race meeting of your choice and access to our paddock hospitality, amongst other benefits.
