Finished 7 in class, and spent a lot of my youth watching Barry Sheene, and I always try to run the number were I finished in the champs that year........ Just my quirkiness sorry!!

Ill be on 25 again matey - you'll notice it when I pass you in the wet at Snetterton, in the dry at Cadwell, in the sun at Brands, etc etc

Very good chaps....I like it . The only reason for wanting to keep number 7 was because I had it a few seasons and with there being a fair number of red 924s on the grid it just makes it easy for my massive crowd of fans to pick me out . Anyway Nick, I'm glad the number has gone to a good home mate. Barry Sheene would be happy too . Suzanne has picked our new number - 72. She chose it as it's the year we were both born .
I noticed there are a few people who have new numbers. Somebody has even picked 69. No comment on that one - other than to say it still reads 69 when it's upside down!

race numbers are important...i couldnt believe that Rebecca had 0! first championship that i have seen where you could have 0....great number..

Anyway i am happy with 64...had it for years...

best one i had was 21, at the time, the number was older than me, when i was racing!
