Chris you're right - a 986 facelift is 2003 + 2004.
Garry, you need engine code M96.24.

That's right Karl, the only way to improve the brakes on a 924 significantly is to fit the hubs/discs/calipers from an early 944 (1982-1985) or a 924 Turbo. Yes, steering rack plus shaft/column with universal joints as it's a different length.

924 turbo is a quicker rack (I use one). Can supply rack plus the other bits needed to convert if you wish?
