Background

In my fourth season now and enjoying the racing more than ever.

This year, I have teamed up with Clive Morison of MOLUTO.COM who is a Porsche specialist based in Marple, Cheshire. Clive has many years of preparing racing and rally cars and has competed himself in our championship. The car is now as quick as any, I have just got to learn to keep it on the track! Our target is to win every race, get fastest lap and win the championship, but there is always seems to be someone in the way! Our day will come I am sure.

We are not testing before each race this year in the hope that the experience we have gained over the past three seasons will carry us through; time will tell if this is the right strategy. This year the 924 class is very close, with every one of us able to win it will be a hard fought and well deserved championship.

The door is always open to any new driver [not literally] so if you have always wanted to race then this is your year and this is your championship.

Achievements and Goals

I plan to steadily develop the car and myself during the season.  I have lost over three stone to fit into the car!

Following a engine build and set up by Alistair [the champ] and John [the legend] Kirkham we managed to achieve my first victory at Zolder this year and have had four podiums so I really feel competative at last. Just goes to show if an old guy like me can do it so can anyone.

Sponsors/Links

My stock auditing company www.TAKESTOCK-SOUTH.co.uk & TSASBESTOS.co.uk provides the funds

I have recently received sponsorship from www.BMS-CARS.co.uk who provide help with the spares.

And I must thank www.PORSCHA-RECYCLED.co.uk who provide the invaluable advice and know-how.

Great thanks must go to Clive at MOTOLUTO.COM for all his support - if you want your Porsche to perform then he is your man!
